Oze Tour Full Itinerary
Day 1
  • Arrive at Sydney and be met by your Tour Hosts, Geoff and Baiba James. Transfer to Stamford Plaza Hotel, Double BayFor More Information
  • Afternoon - Optional sightseeing tour of Sydney's main attractions.
  • Evening - 'Welcome Cocktail Party'.
Day 2
  • Morning - Optional shopping tour or visit the Olympic site at Homebush Bay.
  • Afternoon - Play golf at 'The Lakes' GC Pictures and  Information - Located 5 kms from Sydney's CBD. One of Australia's most famous courses - home of the Greg Norman Classic in recent years. A back 9 with water carries that will test even the most skilled golfer.
Day 3
  • Morning - Play golf at either 'NSW' GC, a premier course or Terrey Hills Golf Club.
  • Afternoon/Evening - Sydney Harbour Sunset Cruise in private charter yacht. Enjoy a sumptuous Aussie seafood buffet. An excellent night.
Day 4
  • Morning - The Three Sisters ( Blue Mountains )Drive to the Blue Mountains, 68 miles or 110 kms west of Sydney. The mountains provide sweeping views of the bushland and valleys, eucalypt forests, waterfalls, sheer cliffs and dramatic scenery.
  • Accommodation - Fairmont Resort at Leura Pictures and  Information. This magnificent resort, set in beautifully landscaped grounds, is surrounded by 25 acres of natural Australian bushland. The Fairmont has 3 restaurants, nightclubs, 2 bars, indoor and outdoor heated pools and spas, billiard room, tennis and squash courts and an 18 hole golf course. Pictures and  Information
  • Play a round of golf - do some sightseeing - and relax.
Day 5
  • Depart for drive to Sydney Airport. Fly to Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
  • Accommodation - The Hyatt Regency, Coolum Pictures and  Information - this world class resort is set amongst 150 hectares of lush rainforest, fronted by Pacific Ocean beaches. This luxurious resort provides a challenging 18 hole, top rated golf course, a tennis centre, fitness facilities, a choice of 8 swimming pools, 4 restaurants and a village square with boutiques, shops and eateries.
  • Late Afternoon - Golf at Novotel Twin Waters GC Pictures and  Information, Mudjimba Beach (10 minutes from the Hyatt Regency). This challenging, 6,188 m. Course was designed by Peter Thompson and Mike Wolveridge. The layout is a typically tough links course, with bunkers and wide contoured fairways. Golfers who miss the fairway are punished with water, bush or long grass. The pick of the holes is the 8th, where both water and deep pot bunkers come into play far too frequently for the hacker.
Day 6
  • Play golf at the Hyatt Regency GC Pictures and  Information, Coolum, a 6,326 m course. On all but 6 of the holes, water comes into play. The pick of the holes is the 18th, considered by many professionals as one of the best closing holes in Australia. Golf, being thirsty work, there are telephones at both the 9th and 18th tees, so you can call ahead and place drink orders at the bar.
  • Afternoon - Visit Noosa (20 kms north) - a place of natural beauty. A sub-Tropical paradise with sparkling beaches, soft white sand, sheltered bays, brilliant blue skies, sophisticated shopping, sidewalk cafes, gourmet dining and abundant wild life.
Day 7
  • Play golf or visit Fraser Island (World Heritage listed in 1992) situated just north of Noosa. This is the largest sand island in the world. The island's exceptional sand dune systems, its rainforest on sand, the magnificent coloured sand pinnacles, the pristine freshwater lakes, make this an environmental wonderland that ought not be missed.
Day 8
  • Coral TroutFly to Cairns, Tropical North Queensland.
  • Transfer to Kewarra Lodge Pictures and  Information. Time for sightseeing or simply relax.
Day 9
  • Early Morning - Golf at Paradise Palms Golf Course Pictures and  Information. This 18 hole layout is a Marsh/Watson design, measuring 6,595 m. The course is known for its hazards and natural beauty. The hazards - 6 lakes and 94 bunkers - offers a true test to all markers. It is set on the site of a former sugar cane plantation, bordered by the rainforest clad McAllister range and the Coral Sea. The course has been further enhanced by the planting of over 4,000 trees, including Royal Palms, Mango, Poinciana, Lychee and Frangipani. This picture-perfect venue also provides an on-course beverage cart and tee shelters on the 5th and 13th tees.
  • Afternoon - Transfer to Thala Beach Lodge Pictures and  Information, near Port Douglas. This exclusive, luxury, eco tourism haven is surrounded by two (2) kms of private sandy beaches and sheltered coves. This is an environment for those who appreciate the finer things in life while basking in the simplicity of nature. The restaurant offers fine food and uninterrupted views for 110 kms - a remarkable vista, studded by coral islands, reefs and mountain ranges.
Day 10
  • Play golf at the Mirage Country Club GC Pictures and  Information, a championship 6,261 m. course. The original home of the Skins Tournament in Australia. The 6 par three, 6 fours and 6 fives, make up 2 distinctive nines. The opening nine holes are known as the Reef nine, bordered by the Coral Sea and the inward nine is the Mountain nine, with the backdrop of the Atherton Tablelands. The par 3, 13th may not present too many difficulties, even for the high handicapper, but it is perhaps the most picturesque hole on the layout - built on an island lagoon and surrounded by palms. This will be a golf game you will remember for a long time.
Day 11
  • The Great Barrier Reef - the region's No. 1 tourist drawcard - is the crowning jewel in the world's treasure chest of natural wonders. It is the largest coral system in the world, containing more than 2,500 individual reefs and islands, stretching for more than 2,000 kms along the Queensland coast. It covers an area about half the size of Texas.
  • Click for More InformationWe have organised a full day charter on a 52' sailing boat, professionally crewed. We will visit two northern outer reefs, where you can go snorkelling, fishing, boomnetting. Enjoy a tropical buffet lunch and be served morning and afternoon tea. (Beer, wine and soft drinks on consumption basis, own expense).
  • This will be a day filled with fun and action - an incredible and unforgettable experience - enjoying the splendour of the Great Barrier Reef.
Day 12
  • Fly to Sydney.
  • optional sight-seeing Pictures and  Information.
  • Evening - Farewell Dinner at a top "Australian Cuisine" Restaurant. Enjoy the culinary delights of Native Australia. (Dinner included in cost of package.)
Day 13
  • Transfer to Sydney Airport.
